Final Design Solution - Seating Matters Character

Originally I was thinking of making the character a car to appeal to the younger audience who would see the car in the shape of the chair and think of it as cool and something they would want to sit rather than something they have to sit in because of their disability.

I then thought about making a lorry using the shape of the chair again to appeal to young males. The lorry would pull the Seating Matters trailer so it would look like a delivery truck for the company. With the front of the truck being the chair this bring movement to something associated with those who can't move about easily.

However I decided to go for something more simple. I explored the company logo which is two circles with an arrow going through it. This is where I got the idea for the final character design. It is an arrow which stands straight as well folds to look like a chair which is what the company is associated with making. The arrow is covered in an armchair-like texture which I got from Google images to make it look  soft comfortable, hence promoting the company ethos of providing comfortable seating.
